Senior Show - New Callback Process

Thank you to all who auditioned. The directors appreciate the time and effort you devoted to this process. You will be notified by email or phone on Monday February 20th if you are being called back. Those auditioning on the 25th will be notified at their audition.  Callbacks will be held Saturday February 25th. Callback materials will posted on the site. Check back on the 20th. 



To the young ladies and gentlemen wishing to audition for Legally Blonde  from your Director,  Michael Wadham

The audition panel expects that you are applying these principles to your performance as best you can at all times and will be looking for these things throughout the audition and callback process. Please take this information seriously and to heart. 

1.  HEALTH.

     Are you using your voice healthily?  

     Are you taking care of yourself and your instrument? 

     Support properly!

2.  AUTHENTICITY.

     Are you "playing a part" or are you "living in each moment"?

     Know the difference; execute the latter.

     Create real  relationships onstage.  Do not display emotion -- experience it.

3.  PROFESSIONALISM.

     Are you easy to work with?  Do you take direction? 

     Are you respectful of others?  Make choices, not excuses.

     Past and present behavior is taken into consideration.

4.  CONNECTION TO BODY.

     Are your movements in line with your emotional content?

     Do you move around unnecessarily?  Do your movements have purpose?

     Have a reason to move and do it so boldy.

5.  ENDURANCE.

     'Whipped Into Shape' speaks for itself. ; )

     Dancing well and singing well at the same time is a must in this production.

     Prepare yourself accordingly.
